Really enjoyed our stay here. Super room in superb location.
Very pleasant sprawling accommodation, great double room with 2 double beds. Fast WiFi for a price that works across the resort. Large screen TV but no kitchenette facilities beyond a kettle. Very nice pool area. Quite good restaurant especially breakfast, the kitchen was very quick but front of house was variable but generally efficient.
This was a nice, mediocre hotel. Drinks at the bar (including non-alcoholic drinks) took 20 min or more to arrive. Everything was overpriced. And it is the sort of place where being a guest means being the object of an inexplicable array of rules. You can have breakfast, but only if you go to the front desk and buy a coupon for $28. And, if you pay for the continental breakfast, you need to go through the buffet and not get any hot food. Want a cappuccino? Nope. It is against the rules. You have to ask if you can get one if you pay extra, and then, maybe, it is OK. Think the water in the mini bar is free? Better read the mini bar menu carefully or youll be unpleasantly surprised.For a mediocre hotel, it was fine. And given it is one of the only options, not a bad choice. But certainly not super awesome.

Nice clean rooms with standard amenities. What makes this place interesting is that it is self sustaining. Smack in the middle of what I would consider the Aussi desert, these suite of resorts cater to nearly 600,000 tourists visiting the area per year. It has it's own IGA, water filtration and gas generating station, post office, police and medical facility which is great considering the remoteness of the area. They are very conscious of the heat too so are ever ready to fill a water bottle. As for the staff, they are not all that quick with a smile, however in their defense, in +40C I was amazed at how many tourists could also not find a smile. Cheer up people! You're on vacation and I sure hope you knew what you were getting into before you booked. On that note, a special call out to Jack manning the bar. Thank you so much for the London Fog latte -- it was a special treat that reminded me of home . Definitely service up and beyond.
